Humanitarian Assistance available for SDCC Households and Businesses
Humanitarian assistance has been made available to households and businesses in SDCC area by the Department of Social Protection and Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment. SDCC are asking all households and businesses living in properties directly affected by Storm Chandra to complete the following form or to contact the council by calling 01-4149000 ahead of the deadlines below.

Irish Red Cross helpline available for people distressed by flood damage Compassionate listening combined with practical guidance The Irish Red Cross has launched a dedicated phone helpline (01 642 4648) today (Friday 30th January), manned by Irish Red Cross staff and volunteers, to support people distressed by flood damage to their home, property or business. The helpline is for people who would like to speak to someone who can provide them with a supportive ‘listening ear’ and make them aware of other Government or local authority support services.
