We want to hear from you – Customer Survey

South Dublin County Council (SDCC) is encouraging residents, businesses, students, visitors and community stakeholders to take part in a new citizen survey to share their views on how well the Council is delivering on the commitments set out in its Corporate Plan 2025-2029.

The survey forms part of SDCC's ongoing commitment to engaging with citizens and stakeholders and ensuring that community feedback plays a central role in shaping and improving Council services. Responses will help the Council evaluate progress against its strategic objectives and identify areas where further improvements are needed.

SDCC is particularly keen to hear from people from all backgrounds and communities across the county, including groups that may experience inequality or barriers to participation. The Council is committed to ensuring diverse voices are represented throughout the process.

The Corporate Plan outlines SDCC's ambitions and commitments through to 2029. It is built around seven key goals that are supported by ambitious targets and performance indicators to measure progress:

• Climate Leadership – Leading a just transition towards net zero.
• Quality Housing – Providing quality social and affordable homes for everyone who needs them.
• A Thriving Economy – Making South Dublin the best possible place to do business.
• A Better Place – Delivering the infrastructure and facilities required to serve a growing population.
• Connected Communities – Supporting communities to be integrated, inclusive and safe.
• Cultural Richness – Creating a vibrant culture for all to enjoy.
• People-First – Being a people-centred organisation.

The survey has been developed in line with the Council's Equality and Human Rights Framework and supports the Public Sector Equality and Human Rights Duty. Feedback gathered will help the Council better understand the needs and experiences of communities across the county while informing future service improvements.

The survey takes approximately two to five minutes to complete. Participants who choose to provide their contact details in Section 3 will be entered into a draw for a chance to win a €200 One4all voucher.
