SDCC Scoop Council of the Year at LAMA Awards

SDCC scooped the Council of the Year Award at the 2026 LAMA All Ireland Community and Council Awards, held on 28 February in the Dublin Royal Convention Centre. This year marked the 20th Anniversary of the annual awards ceremony and 40 years of the LAMA executive. These awards shine a spotlight on the incredible collaboration between communities and councils. They provide a platform to showcase outstanding local initiatives, honour unsung heroes, and acknowledge the remarkable contributions that enrich and strengthen our communities.
