The council facilitates eligible applicants to purchase their local authority rented property through the 2016 Incremental Tenant Purchase Scheme (see documents listed below in the related documents section).

Where an applicant under the 2016 Incremental Tenant Purchase Scheme is approved to purchase their dwelling they must finance the purchase by way of a mortgage. Applicants who wish to finance by way of a mortgage can do so through a bank, building society, credit union or South Dublin County Council.
Once you have purchased your home, our Loan Accounts Section then manage your account and assists with any redemption or other queries.
