South Dublin County Council warmly welcomes disabled people and assistants to drop in to use the fully accessible Changing Places toilet facility in our North Clondalkin Library, Liscarne Close, Clondalkin, Dublin 22.
This purpose-built toilet facility gives disabled people and assistants more space and the right equipment to take care of personal hygiene, in safety and comfort.
The Changing Places toilet goes beyond a conventional wheelchair-accessible toilet in that it includes additional assistive technology of a hoist, height adjustable adult-sized changing bench, and peninsular toilet (toilet has enough space on both sides for assistants).
The toilet is on the ground floor of North Clondalkin Library. Please sign in at library reception so we know you are in the building.
The bar that is attached to the hoist is for loop slings. However, a separate spreader bar is available from the library reception desk so that anyone using a clipped sling can also use our facility.
