The Fortunestown Local Area Plan was adopted by the Elected Members of South Dublin County Council on the 16th April 2012 and came into operation on the 14th May 2012.
The accompanying SEA Statement for the Fortunestown LAP summarises how environmental considerations were integrated into the production of the Plan.
On the 12th June 2017, by resolution, the Local Area Plan was extended for further period (in accordance with Section 19 of the Planning and Development Act 2000, as amended).
The Local Area Plan will now expire on 13th May 2022.
