Poddle Flood Alleviation Scheme
We are now moving to the Dublin City Council phase of the scheme with the vital defence works commencing in Ravensdale Park from May 20th.
This will require closing the Northern end of the park along Ravensdale Park and Ravensdale Drive. These restrictions will be put in place for approx. 12 months.
Attached is a plan showing the restrictions that will be put in place. In essence the pedestrian entrances at the Builders Providers and at the Ravensdale Park will be closed.
The entrance at Kimmage Rd Lower will remain open to accommodate the walking route from Kimmage Rd West, but the pathway from the Kimmage Rd Lower to the Builders Providers will be closed.
We apologise in advance for the inconvenience that this will cause but we will strive to get this area of the park reopened as soon as we can.
