Notice of Making of Vesting Order

Notice is hereby given that South Dublin County Council (hereinafter called “the local authority”), in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 17 of the Derelict Sites Act, 1990 has on the 27th day of November 2025 made a Vesting Order whereby the derelict site described in the Schedule hereunder will, on the 19th day of December 2025, vest in the local authority in fee simple free from all encumbrances and all estates, rights, titles and interests of whatsoever kind;

and further take notice that a copy of the Vesting Order and a map of the derelict site, described in the Schedule hereunder, has been deposited at the offices of South Dublin County Council, County Hall, Town Centre, Tallaght, Dublin 24 and the Civic Offices, Clondalkin, Dublin 22, and may be inspected there during business hours.

Any person who, immediately before the above Vesting Order was made, had any estate or interest in or right in respect of the derelict site acquired by the order may apply to the local authority not later than twelve months after the making of the Order for compensation in respect of the estate, interest or right.

DESCRIPTION OF LAND

Site at 11 Turret Road, Palmerstown, Dublin 20, comprising the lands contained within Folio DN59983F of the County Dublin Register of Ownership of Freehold Land, and delineated in red on map reference number DS 1818.
