Chargehand Cleaner

SDCC is seeking applications for the position of Chargehand Cleaner.

This is an opportunity to lead and support a team of cleaning staff, helping to ensure that Council buildings and facilities are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation. The successful candidate will organise and monitor cleaning schedules, assign duties, carry out quality inspections, maintain stock levels and support the day-to-day operation of cleaning services across our facilities.

They will act as a point of contact between cleaning staff and management, provide guidance and training to staff, maintain records and assist with cleaning duties when required.

Salary: €630.74 – €658.28 per week (excluding allowances)

Contract: Permanent

District Supervisor of Parks (Public Realm)

SDCC is seeking applications for the position of District Supervisor of Parks.

The District Supervisor of Parks for Public Realm is a key operational leadership role responsible for overseeing the maintenance and improvement of the Council's parks, open spaces, and public realm assets. The successful candidate will coordinate and manage direct labour crews and specialist contractors, ensuring that work is delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Join a team responsible for over 1,750 hectares of parkland and public open space and play an important role in delivering services that support communities across South Dublin County. A panel will be established to fill permanent and temporary vacancies.
