Fri 11 Sept, 7pm All My Friends Are in Australia in Rua Red An immersive, interactive theatre work by LEGROOM Collective, exploring of friendship, distance, and the challenges of staying or leaving Ireland as a young adult.   More info HERE

Sun 13 Sept, 3-4.30pm Autumn Rocks in Rathfarnham Castle Rathfarnham Concert Band Society performs featuring a lively mix of classical, jazz, film, musical theatre, rock and contemporary favourites. With music ranging from U2 hits to singalong classics by Village People and Neil Diamond, the family-friendly programme invites audiences of all ages.  More info HERE

CULTURE NIGHT PROGRAMMES

Fri 18 Sept Artscope Culture Trail from 4pm From 4.00pm to 9.30pm, the Artscope Trail will move through Griffeen Park Playground, The Tram Caféat Airlie Park, SoCoffee at Aura Lucan Leisure Centre, Airlie Park in Adamstown, Aura Lucan Leisure Centre and Costa Coffee in Dodsboro. This vibrant programme of free live culture brings together jazz, folk, children’s events, world music and the Culture Night Festival Club. Along the trail, audiences will find Cathal Ahern, Aongus, Simon Morgan and Shauna Buckingham with Pop-Up Instant Opera, Claire Sherry, Mick McNamara and DRUMadore popping up across the four communities, before the Artscope Trail finishes at Aura Lucan Leisure Centre with the Dixie Micks and special guests at the Culture Night Festival Club. Parthalán, from 7pm Parthalán Place, County Hall, Tallaght

The South Dublin County Council Buildings will be transformed through music, storytelling, lighting and projection for Parthalán, a new performance led by twice Grammy-nominated artist Iarla Ó Lionáird. Inspired by the mythical settler Parthalán and his connection to Tallaght through Lebor Gabála Érenn (The Book of Invasions), the world premiere explores place, movement, memory, belonging and transformation. Ó Lionáird is joined by Gareth Quinn Redmond, Ian Nyquist and Rosie Murphy, with a special musical introduction from Caoimhín Ó Raghallaigh and Cormac McCarthy. Parthalán is funded by South Dublin County Council Arts Office through the South Dublin Live programme with additional programming funded by Creative Ireland South Dublin’s Project Award.

Fri 2 Oct, 7pm Kirsteen Music in St Maelruin's Church of Ireland An evening of live acoustic gospel music featuring heartfelt songs, inspiring stories and emerging singer-songwriters. Alongside original music performances, the event will provide a platform for up-and-coming artists to share their work in a welcoming and reflective setting designed to encourage rest, connection and hope.   More info HERE

Wed 21 – Fri 23 Oct Monsters in Various Schools and LibrariesAn enchanting journey, created by Mateusz Szczerek, where imagination meets reality in a captivating dance performance for children. Through lively choreography and vibrant storytelling, this piece explores the world of monsters, fables and fears. Filled with humour, heart, and a sprinkle of magic, Monsters teaches us that friendship can be found in the most unexpected places.
