SDCC Play Policy

South Dublin County Council has adopted its new Play Policy, The Nature of Play 2025–2030, which will guide the Council’s approach to play over the coming years. The policy reaffirms SDCC’s longstanding commitment to creating a play-friendly county where every child can thrive and acknowledges the distinct play and recreational needs of teenagers. It sets out a clear commitment to developing inclusive, welcoming spaces that support play for all young people.
