Proposed Temporary Closure of Pearse Brother’s Park/Glenmore Park, Rathfarnham, Dublin 16
To facilitate Cleary Doyle Ltd. on behalf of South Dublin County Council to deal with storm water out fall from the new social housing development in Rathfarnham by installing connections to the estate infrastructure for a storm water drainage system. South Dublin County Council propose to temporarily close a section of the following roads from Monday 16th March 2026 to Friday 19th June 2026. Theworkswill be undertaken over four phases (4) as outlined in the advert (link below). Note phase 2 will not require a road closure.
Any person interested may lodge an observation/submission in writing to the Senior Executive Officer, Land Use, Planning and Transportation, South Dublin County Council, County Hall, Tallaght, Dublin 24 or by email to seoroads@sdublincoco.ie no later than 5.00 p.m. on Monday 02nd March 2026.

Temporary closure of Hazelhatch Road (R405) Co. Dublin
Roads Act 1993, Section 75 - Temporary Closure of Hazelhatch Road R405, Co. Dublin
To facilitate GMC Utilities Ltd. on behalf of Uisce Éireann and South Dublin County Council to install a watermain, a new surface water pipeline and to install communications ducting, South Dublin County Council has made an order to temporarily close the following road:
Road Name: Hazelhatch Road (R405) Co. Dublin from junction of R405 with Loughtown
Road and the junction of R405 with Athgoe Road.
From: Monday 23rd February 2026.
To: Monday 31st August 2026.
Time of Closure: 24hrs daily.
Detour Route:
Heading Southbound to Newcastle R405 – Loughtown Road – R120 – Athgoe Road.
Heading Southbound to Newcastle: L2008 – Lyons Road – Athgoe Road
Heading Northbound to Celbridge; Athgoe Road – R120 – Loughtown Road – R405
Local access will be maintained.
24hr emergency access to be maintained at all times.
