Planned closure of Tymon Park entrance and car park at Wellington Road

The building work at Tymon Park Intergenerational Centre is progressing and close to completion.

To complete the works;  the Wellington Road entrance to Tymon Park will be closed to both pedestrian and vehicles for the 30th and 31st of July 2025 to allow for reinstatement and resurfacing of the car park.

Alternative access has been arranged for pedestrians and emergency vehicles via adjacent routes; and diversionary routes will be marked on those dates.

But please note Tymon Park car park and the direct pedestrian access through it into Tymon Park from the Wellington Road will not be available during those days.

Alternative car park locations will available at the Limekiln entrance to Tymon Park and the Castletymon Road entrance to Tymon Park.

We apologise for any inconvenience during this time, and we will attempt to minimise the duration as much as possible.
