Development Contribution Scheme 2021-2025

Application of 8.4% Indexation Increase as of 1st January 2022

The rates of development contributions payable under the current South Dublin County Council Section 48 Development Contribution Scheme 2021-2025 has been updated with effect from 1st January 2022 in accordance with the Tender Price Index. Consequently, a 8.4% increase in development levies will be applied to both Residential and Industrial/Commercial Development as follows:

Section 48 Development Contribution Scheme 2021-2025

An indexation rate of 8.4 % will be applied to the scheme for Residential & Industrial/Commercial Development and become effective on permissions granted after 1st January 2022. The levy for 2022 will be as follows

Description of DevelopmentAmount of Contribution
Residential Development€104.49 per square metre
Industrial/Commercial Development€98.76 per square metre

**All other rate categories under Section 48 Development Contribution Scheme 2021 -2025 will be subject to this increase**

All planning permissions granted for Residential and Industrial/Commercial Development after 1st January 2022 will be increased by 8.4%
