Chief Executive's Report - January 2024

South Dublin County Council’s Chief Executive’s Report is presented to elected members at Council every month and details important achievements across our various departments whilst highlighting key statistics and images from events that took place that month. The report also highlights major news pieces and puts a focus on an area of the Council that doesn’t always get the attention it deserves.

This month's report includes news on-:

  • Airlie Park Opens to the Public - South Dublin County Councils’ newest park, Airlie Park in Adamstown, opens to the Public
  • Round Tower Design and Craft Shop Opens -  Mayor Alan Edge officially opened the Round Tower Design and Craft Shop on 4 December
  • 2023 Gender Pay Gap Report Published - Report highlights the percentage difference between what men and women are paid on average in the organisation.
  • Council Focus - New Capital Programme -  New Three Year Capital Programme outlining over €1.5 billion of projects for the period 2024-2026 was presented at the December 2023 Council Meeting.
