South Dublin County Council are required by the Chemicals Act (Control of Major Accident Hazards involving Dangerous Substances) Regulations 2015 (S. I. No. 209 of 2015) to prepare a plan (External Emergency Plan) to deal with effects off-site and to assist, where relevant, with the emergency response on site in the event of a major accident at sites designated as ‘Upper-Tier Seveso Sites’ under the above-mentioned Regulations. The above is such a site. This public consultation is taking place in accordance with Section 16 (6) of S. I. no. 209 of 2015.
The plan is available for viewing in the following locations:
Environment, Water & Climate Change Department,

County Hall,
Tallaght,
Dublin 24,
D24 YNN5.
Dates for viewing are from Wednesday 12th October, 2016 to Wednesday 9th November, 2016 inclusive, excluding weekends.
Times for viewing are between 09:30 and 16:30 hrs.
The latest date for receipt of submissions in respect of this plan is Wednesday 9th November, 2016 at 17:00 hrs.
