Existing LAP

Local Area Plans are statutory plans which provide for consultation with the public and key stakeholders and have been adopted by the Council Members.  They have a life span of 6 years and the Local Authority must commence a review of a local area plan six years after the making of the previous plan, however, the existing plan can be extended for a further 5 years but this process must commence five years after making the plan.  The following are existing Local Area Plans for South Dublin County that must be adhered to in guiding development and amenities in the areas to which they refer:
