In 2023, following the success of the Local Live Performance Scheme, South Dublin County Council Arts Office launched South Dublin Live, a live performance events programme for the county. South Dublin Live funded a wide variety of performance events including live music, comedy, theatre, and aerial dance. Events took place in both indoor and outdoor venues, libraries, parks, and community centres throughout the county.

The 2024 South Dublin Live programme includes an Open Call, where South Dublin County Council Arts Officeis inviting applications to South Dublin Livefrom Professional Performers and Producers; (ensembles or individuals), South Dublin Arts Community, and Cultural Organisations; and South Dublin County Community Centres; to fund live performance events indoors or outdoors in the South Dublin County Council administrative area. 

All genres of performance (Music, Spectacle, Circus, Street Arts, Theatre, Dance, Pantomime, etc.) are encouraged to apply. Small scale solo performances and unplugged presentations through to amplified concerts will be considered. Outdoor performance events are particularly welcome.
