Ireland’s first purpose-built calisthenics and functional workout area has been installed in Tymon Park. We plan to extend this facility to other parks in our administrative area.
The equipment, the first of its kind in Ireland, is specifically designed for competitive calisthenics training. The aim of the installation is to empower people to create healthy habits, allowing them to improve their own physical and mental well-being through exercising in a public park.
Calisthenics is a form of physical training focused on teaching you to master your own bodyweight using minimal equipment.
Calisthenics facilities in South County Dublin:
- Tymon Park
- Ballycragh Park
- Collinstown Park
- Knockmitten
In partnership with BarMonkey instructional videos have been created to show you how to use the equipment safely and efficiently.
