National Biodiversity Week 2025
National Biodiversity Week takes place from Friday 16th to Sunday 25th May 2025.
The wide range of events scheduled for this week aim to connect people with nature and to communicate the importance of Ireland's biodiversity. Planned events will also help show how we can all play our part in protecting biodiversity and how doing this will also help protect our own future.
Biodiversity talks, workshops, exhibitions, and interactive sessions will be hosted across SDCC’s Libraries, where you can meet the experts and learn about plants, flowers, birds, honeybees, spiders, pollinating insects, wasps, the science behind nature, and even farm animals and the family pet.
