Energy Citizens Roadshow
EirGrid in partnership with ESB and the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) is hosting a free public event in Newcastle as part of their Energy Citizens Roadshow series. The event will host information on retrofit grants for homeowners and businesses, as well as community action and microgeneration.
The event will take place on Monday the 30th of March in St. Finians Community Hall, Newcastle. The event will follow the below timetable.
- Exhibition space commencing at 6pm: Our exhibitors are local suppliers in solar panelling, insulation, retrofitting and a range of other areas, including local community groups and Credit Unions.
- Panel discussion commencing at 7pm: This consists of a panel made up of EirGrid, SEAI, ESB Networks and South Dublin County Council. A short MC led discussion will be followed by a questions and answers session from the audience.
- EirGrid generally discusses the future electricity transmission grid needs in the region.
- SEAI discuss high level home energy upgrades, sustainable energy communities and business upgrades.
- ESB Networks discusses their National Network Local Connections programme and microgeneration opportunities in particular.
