First Round Public Consultation

First Round of Pre-Draft Plan Public Consultation took place during March to May 2023 and many people from the Clondalkin community took time to meet with representatives from South Dublin County Council’s Planning Department to share their experiences and ideas for the future growth of the area.

South Dublin County Council appointed Connect the Dots to facilitate a comprehensive public consultation, with the aim of collaboratively establishing a shared vision and guiding principles for Clondalkin's inaugural Draft Local Area Plan.

A report on the findings of the first round of pre-draft public consultation was prepared. The report summarises the feedback obtained during the initial pre-draft public consultation phase, which forms a vital part of the process in preparing Clondalkin's first Local Area Plan.
