The Conscious Cup Campaign seeks to reduce and eventually eliminate single use cups in Ireland. The campaign's objective is to increase awareness about why "Reuse" is so important, how reducing our waste protects our finite resources and in turn our planet.

South Dublin County Council have been supporting and promoting the Conscious Cup Campaign since 2018 through advertising and online campaigns. To date we have supplied over 400 reusable cups to our staff in County Hall, Tallaght, offering staff a discount on hot beverages when they use their cups.

South Dublin County Council is currently preparing an online campaign to encourage citizens to start using reusable cups again.
