South Dublin County Council Biodiversity Action Plan 2020-2026 was adopted by the elected members of council at the November 2020 Council Meeting. Prior to being published the plan was reviewed and climate-proofed. 

Invasive alien species is being mapped and a management plan developed as part of the Biodiversity Action Plan.

The Council's Tree Management Policy ‘Living with Trees 2021-2026’ has also been published.
