The careful management of our resources is important to minimise and prevent the amount of waste we produce. Segregation of waste allows materials to re-enter the system as new products. However, reducing the amount of waste we produce is the preferred option, eliminating the need to manage the waste. We continue to monitor and review the use of resources in our own operations and develop awareness campaigns for communities to help them understand and enjoy the benefits of reducing waste.
