Development Contribution Scheme 2021-2025

 Application of 6.18% Indexation Increase for 2024

The South Dublin Section 48 Development Contribution Schemes will increase with effect from 01/01/2024 in accordance with the Tender Price Index. 

Consequently, a 6.18% increase in development levies will be applied to both Residential and Industrial/Commercial Development as follows:

Description of Development

Amount of Contribution

Residential Development

€126.46 per square metre

Industrial/Commercial Development

€119.52 per square metre

These rates shall be applicable to all permissions commenced after the 1st of January, 2024

Similarly, development contributions applicable to all permissions granted prior to 01/01/2024 shall be payable at the index adjusted rate pertaining to the year in which implementation of the planning permission is commenced.
