Planning Counter Open to Public by Appointment
In accordance with the Government Roadmap for Reopening Society and Business and the ‘Priority Actions in Reopening Services within the Planning System’ issued by the LGMA/CCMA, the engagement of the planning system by members of the public is by appointment only. Under the Level 5 restrictions, introduced on October 22nd 2020, an appointment only system will continue. Please note that appointments will only be facilitated where it is demonstrated to the Planning Authority that the online facilities for an active statutory planning system process are not sufficient and/or there are exceptional circumstances. Customers are encouraged to engage with the available online services and to minimise appointments.
To book an appointment, please email email@example.com or by phone to (01) 4149000. Please note that appointments are required to be confirmed by the close of business on the day prior to the appointment and customers will be required to supply relevant information, including the active statutory planning system activity that the appointment relates, to the Planning Authority.
The Council is advising customers and citizens not to physically call to Council offices for any reason, apart from attendance for a confirmed appointment for the planning counter, as they will not be able to gain access.
