Part 8 proposal for Tallaght Public Realm Works

South Dublin County Council are proposing to carry out public realm works totalling approximately 1.2ha at Belgard Square North and on South Dublin County Council lands to the south and north of Belgard Square North, Tallaght.

The proposals seek to redefine and create an integrated network of spaces and routes for movement and activity within an expanding part of the town centre. The will involve the upgrade of existing public spaces and routes and the creation of new spaces and routes that will help unlock a new urban quarter.

The proposals seeks to realise and implement important landscape and public realm opportunities and concepts relating to universal access, safety and security, children’s play, multi-functional uses/events, sustainable urban drainage, permeability, biodiversity and green infrastructure.
