Notification of Increase in Rate for Industrial/Commercial Development

Application of 7.2% Indexation Increase as of 1st January 2019

The rates of development contributions payable under the current South Dublin County Council Section 48 Development Contribution Scheme 2016-2020 has been updated with effect from 1st January 2019 in accordance with the Tender Price Index. Consequently, a 7.2% increase in development levies will be applied to Industrial/Commercial Development only as follows:

Section 48 Development Contribution Scheme 2016-2020

An indexation rate of 7.2 % will be applied to the scheme for Industrial/Commercial Development only and become effective on permissions granted after 1st January 2019. The levy for 2019 will be as follows:-

Residential Development € 90.42 per sq metre
Industrial/Commercial Development € 85.47 per sq metre

All planning permissions granted for Industrial/Commercial Development after 1st January 2019 will be increased by 7.2%
