More time on your hands? Now is the perfect time to get started on your family history! South Dublin Libraries presents a series of genealogy talks with Fiona Fitzsimons of the Irish Family History Centre every Wednesday evening for 6 weeks, beginning on 13th May at 7:00pm.
Each class introduces an major source: Wednesday 13th May: Civil Records (Births, Marriages and Deaths), Wednesday 20th May: Census Records, Wednesday 27th May: Parish Records (Catholic & Church of Ireland), Wednesday 3rd June: Griffith's Valuation, Wednesday 10th June: Gravestones and Cemetery Records, Wednesday 17th June: Newsprint.
These sessions will be delivered online via Zoom. A link to join the Zoom session will be emailed to attendees on the morning of the event.
Please note: A valid email address is required to register for this genealogy session. South Dublin Libraries will send a Zoom invitation to your email address at 10:00am on the morning of the event to enable you to attend the session.
Each genealogy session must be booked separately on Eventbrite on Thursday mornings following each class from 10:00am.
